As the crisp fall days continue and the winter months creep closer, I look for every opportunity to get my kids outside. I decided to create a fun scavenger hunt that you can do on a walk around your neighborhood or a trip to your favorite park. My favorite part was seeing what each kid deemed a "treasure"! If you want to use this activity to supply another; have the kids gather some of the items as you find them. They can use their findings to create a unique fall masterpiece at home. Give them some paper, crayons, glue, their pieces of nature, and let them go at it!
